Food Truck Ordinance Information
The meeting on Monday April 21, 2025 was not a meeting of the Zoning Board or a meeting of the Village Council. It was a Zoning and Ordinance committee meeting (only 3 members of the council, not a quorum) to review a first draft of a proposed ordinance created by our legal attorney based off similar ordinances in the surrounding area. There were several changes made to the proposal, before any final approval or vote is made these changes will be reviewed by any or all of the following: the committee, legal, and full Village Council. There was no official recommendation made to council by the committee at this point. More changes and discussion may be taking place regarding this proposed ordinance. The committee was informed we received several emails from members of the public regarding the proposed ordinance first draft. All communications received have been printed for record and filed with the documents from the committee meeting. Changes made to the ordinance and minutes of the committee meeting will be published on our website under the Council Packet for the meeting on 4-28-2025. The packet posting will be available by end of business day on Friday, April 25, 2025 for your further review.
